Actually what We CAN do is save our money as though we're not going to get a pension. Handle our own retirement instead of expecting some magic fairy to come in and save us at a certain age.

First of all,  If these animals were raised in captivity, and around that environment, they may be more used to it then the typical African lion running around on the plains in Narobi, or wherever. I can just see this bill hurting the families where one or both parents have to work mulitple jobs to keep up with basics.

We all did things we wish we didnt' when we were "young 'n dumb". She just did it on a grander scale. I don't get the hate. She turned things around so good for her.

Ditto.. it's not cultural!! Babies, and toddlers can DIE (and do) over here when they are left in cars. If they can leave the babies in the outdoors, and it's all cool, more power to them, but cars can be deadly no matter where you live!!

Maybe it's fair.  CEO's are typically short of brains. If they want workers that use their brains, why don't they allow for that?

Dr. Stevens - as a former girl scout who grew up to be the wife of a boyscout leader, I thank GOD that Girl Scouts were completely different from Boy Scouts. We did scouting activities as well. Just not to the extreme that BSA takes it.
