Retire as soon as possible, I did at 56 yrs. old with a 36 1/2 yr. carreer with a power company as a lineman, best choice I ever made.  you have to judge for your self, health, physical ability, family life exspectantcy,  70,80,90,100? or do you just want to work forever. Screw that newspaper for firing her, she has the right to work as many jobs as she can fit in a day,( more power to her!) .....now at least she can work full time at the "strip joint" and make ton's of money if  so best of luck to her....
