Several months after moving into our house, in the late fall, a cat started showing up on our side porch as if she expected to be let in.  Eventually, I gave in and did so.  We already had other cats, so there was food available and she pretty much just fit in.  She stayed the winter.  In late spring she disappeared.  ...more

So... She's appears to be getting kids to eat vegetables.  And (read source) she's doing it within the limitations of the regular budget.  Seems they should be sending the other lunch ladies (and gentlemen) to learn from her instead.
