Your doing the right thing.  Keep educating yourself about stocks.  Invest in what you know, understand or are familiar with. Example.  I have a teenager, she has been a great source for some retail trends I have made money on.  Cheers

I completely agree, Jim.  I logged some gains today, F from the low 12's, HUN sold off after good earnings, low 16's back to high 18's today.   As much as I want to push that buy button today, struggling with the overbought market and many stocks trading at bloated valuations.  What to buy? I hope your right?  The rental market is at a 20 year peak in my area, inflating real estate prices, that were down marginally over the recession.  Love to free up some cash that has been locked up in those investments.
