Totally agree, after 16 years of childfree blissful marriage with my loving wife we have no regrets whatsoever.  We both look 10 years younger than most others our age due to the lack of stress that comes with children and we actaully get along and do stuff together.

I'm 37 and have paid cash for the last 4 cars for my wife and myself.  Not ever getting buried in debt is the key.  When you have zero payments it is not too hard to come up with the money for a car.  My house is also paid for and I am 100% debt free.  Stop trying to keep up with the Joneses.
