I feel cyclists do have a right to be on the road, but (in NYS at least) they are supposed to be following all the same rules as motor vehicles - stopping for signs and lights, signalling turns, etc. Drivers are supposed to follow the rules of the road, too. In my opinion, if a couple is planning a destination wedding, then they shouldn't be surprised when guests can't afford to go.
