Obviously you don't encourage it... but I think a warning would have been sufficient. The cops might not set the price, but I'm sure they know how much it is and I've seen them shrug their shoulders at worse than this.

Seriously, $2500 for a three year old peeing in their own front yard? Why don't the cops find something to do besides extorting money out of the people they are supposed to be protecting?
More important things to worry about... like Benghazi or the IRS or some of the other BS that is currently under investigation. Nothing but respect for the Marine following orders.
I work with all guys... I love working with them (very little drama), but I'm married and don't think it is appropriate to share what I would normally share with a "BFF". I would describe my work friendships more as acquaintances.
