For the most part horses are just hay burners. However, animals should not be mistreated.  This could change if we no longer have fossil fuels to survive on.  Except for some service animals domestic animals are mostly for entertainment.   What other purpose do they serve?  Not saying just saying.

Why not just go with the Washington mentality and spend your way to a comfortable retirement on the backs of future generations?  Or maybe use some basic fiscal logic, saving, and sound investments (not the Capital Hill invest definition).
