Schools have the authority to have dress codes, as a former educator it is necessary.  Years ago it was not because parents had enough sense not to let their kids wear swastikas, racial slurs, halter tops and low cut jeans etc.

We love having a green lawn so we dug a well and use our well water for our irrigation, washing the car and watering our garden, we only use city water for drinking, showering etc

Some people have just never been taught manners and they have no self control. " Mr. Piggy" couldn't help himself.

Please educate our children, don't indoctrinate to either right or left.  That is not your role.  I am an independent and a former librarian and I just want to froth at the mouth when I hear about educators telling our children how to think.  This unthinkable!

I am sure they certainly do all of those things too.  It is not an enormous money pit if you can affored it
