Market indicator favored by Buffett flas...

to Pocket,............ I did win, rode the market and invested heavily for the past 3 years. I made money, still making money, but, also pulled the plug as  I FEEL it. If you want to be all in, so be it. Greed sometimes will pull you down lower.  I am feeling the market is overblown, and ripe for a drop. Like I said, I...more

get a grip Duck. If not for unions, then this country would be down the tubes long ago. I am not a big fan of unions, but, they have made companies here in the USA treat and take care of their employees much better over the years.  You want to see what a CEO or company owner would do without unions, study up on Frank L...more

Meet the Dow's magnificent 7

My belief is if you pay your employees good salaries, then those employees will work harder for their company. When that happens, most companies will prosper, (unless the CEO and his management run the biz into the ground), and the company will usually do much better. When that happens, the company profits, stockholder...more

Check out TCAP or PSEC. Lower entry prices, and great dividends. PSEC pays monthly. I just bought 1k shares, and dripping the divys. To me, PSEC is basically a CD paying me 12%.  Also, they are raising their divy a quarter of a cent almost every month. I might pick up another 1k soon.

I am in the same ballpark as you on COP. Waiting for the market to pullback, before buying some COP. I ditched CHK about a year and a half ago, over the CEO's bullshidt and especially pay package. I won't invest in companies that pay executives unreal salaries. I have been in EPD since Oct. 2009. There is a great MLP f...more

The problem with women, is that they think that  place between their legs, is worth a million+ dollars. First of all, this article is probably fiction, but, also the what not to do plan for GOLDDIGGERS. There a dime a dozen in this country, and pretty much all over the world. Most women are brought up these days, to lo...more

5 things dumber than a lottery ticket

HAH!  A christian that is not greedy?  The southern Baptists want 10% of your paycheck, for the "church". Greed is rampant in this country, and more so with religions. How about the holy rollers on TV?  Tammy Faye and her hubby ring a bell?  Talk about greed...............................

Meet the Dow's magnificent 7

These are some of the biggest companies on the planet, and have gobs of cash, but, too bad they fail to distribute above 4%. Expensive stocks that dole out in the 3% range IMHO is dung to me. I search and find many stockes that are good and growing in their respective markets, and reward investors far more. For the ret...more
