Try the McDonald's down the street. I'm sure they're hiring. I have 2 boys, 21 & 18. Both have jobs. One is a firefighter the other a Marine. It's not hard. The military is always hiring.

I guess we need a law to say that every musician and band has to put a D or R next to their names so we'll know which music we can play or listen to. Obviously, as a conservative, I'm not allowed to play songs written by liberals.

"Real" recovery could be 5 DAYS away if the government would seriously do something about gas prices and the costs of oil. That is the SOURCE of our economic problems.

What gets me is not how she sang, but the fact that the crowd was noisy and blowing vuvuzelas during the National Anthem...that's un-American. It's supposed to be quiet or the crowd should be singing along. But then again, I don't expect much respect from people in this country anymore.

I dont' see how anyone would want to hold stock in a social media site. They're only popular until the next big thing. Just look at Myspace. Who has a Myspace account anymore?

I still enjoy watching SNL even though its not nearly as funny as in the past. I have to agree with blueskygal. In today's hypersensitive, overly Politically Correct world, it's hard to come up with the kinds of satirical skits they performed back in the beginning years of the show.

In order to understand the firing, you'd have to understand where the University of Texas is located. Right smack dab in the middle of the most liberal county in Texas.
