I lived in MD for eight years. I thought I had seen some weird stuff, but nothing quite as stupid as this. The Bay is threatened and MD has been made the scapegoat. The EPA is treating MD as if it purposely poisoned the Bay. Maybe the Feds should treat their neighbor as a neighbor and look at what the District puts...more
Given the situation in Kansas, Gov. Brownback will see this and figure out a way to tax the wind...the most prevalent weather in the state. May even figure out a way to do the same for tornados.
If only they would give me a chance to "try" and live on $174K. I know the District and surrounding areas are not cheap places to live, but the rest of us have to adjust, so why not Congress. Dignity has nothing to do with it.

Every package of the "new" bulbs I have checked says "DO NOT PLACE IN TRASH. MUST BE DISPOSED OF AS HAZARDOUS WASTE. CHECK WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES FOR PROPER PROCEDURES". And THIS is going to save me money?!?
