Home prices are still a bubble compared to historic norm. According to case shiller index, we are still 20% above long term averages. Typical bottom comes at 20% below average. In the future, there will be another problem when you retire: High taxes. To cover the government shortfall of income, tax rates will have to go up. An entire nation cannot borrow for decades, inflate the money supply and then hope that all will be fine when the pay back time arrives. The time to fix today's problems was decades ago.
