The hard thing about all of this is that the Dr is your parents Doctor not yours.  Privacy laws make it difficult for the Dr to meet all family requests for information.  The Dr may have many years of experience with an (elderly) patient and their wishes, written and expressed.  As parents age and get close to their de...more
