Nice to hear you do not text while driving, but I think you are missing the point. An accident is not always a minor fender bender as you seem to regard it, it can mean death or permanent maiming for an innocent party. I cannot understand why this simple but effective solution has not yet been placed into law. What would our lawmakers have to lose by enacting this?
And for those who would whine about passengers being unable to use their phones, all they need to do is ask the driver to pull over.
