The thesis for investing in China was strong up to about 2006. After that it started to crater. Problem with China is complete lack of transparency, and lack of credibility too. Safer to invest in these United States.

Correction. I would not say Americans are selling each other out so much as businesses and corporations are selling out everyone else -- sending jobs out of the country.
Okay so we "keep an eye" on this trust loan situation. But what are the real implications? If these banks should collapse, is it a concern only for investors in China or for the entire global scene? Will have another global financial meltdown if that happens? Should we buy gold for protection?
Jim explains very well how can lose your a-- investing in Santander and he's absolutely right. So... why did he ever recommend this dog stock?? I'm not sure. I guess he thought it was a clever value play but looks more like a value trap now.
