I  too love the Dollar stores. We have 3 of them here now and I buy stuff from all three. There are some differences in prices but as I tell my grandchildren,''I know every cheap joint in this town.'' A laundry soap that is $1.79 at one Dollar store is only a $1.00 at another. I am from the east coast but live on the west coast. I had to return to New Jersey to get the wonderful oyster meals. Whether they are available here I am not sure.

Now that is what I call a great meal.

Ii am 67 and still working and do not intend to quit until I can no longer work. My paycheck goes toward my car payment and small bills and the SS for everything else. There is talk of reducing that too. I am thankful that I have work that I like.I hope and pray that there is plenty of work for the younger people.

That is what we have men for. lol

I went through a whole line of Buicks and my husband refused  to drive them saying that if anything happened to my car he would never hear the end of it. My house payment is lower then a rent payment. The rentals run about $650  here and up plus the deposit. I can see the advantage of not paying property taxes and all the insurances that go along with owning a home. But this place is mine and I love fixing iy up so here I will stay.
