Horrible. Those involved, if they can be located, need to be prosecuted/punished.

Most of the cases involved problems with the fetus, but I have heard of some involving the mother, as well (epilepsy, severe diabetes, etc). At any rate, my point was that doctors are not omniscient, as in this case. Mrs. Knights and her baby both survived the pregnancy in good health.
