People (mostly teens) lose inhibitions when posting anything online.  It's as if they get a Superman complex.  Untouchable by any means of immediate reprimand.  Mindlessly posting anything / everything that comes to mind.   Which is likely why she was so "surprised" she lost her job, and received so much attention.
