A 76-count indictment that alleges conspiracy and wire fraud going back to 2003 is a serious charge. Add on obstruction of justice and you've got yourself a serious problem. I don't think it's racist at all. I don't actually like the ad but that's not the point. VW wants people to believe that it's fun to drive a VW. Even if I don't like the ad, if they get me to believe that maybe it would be fun to own a VW, then they have gotten their message across.
