Hey, fit smart, don't be so pompous. I'm also in my 50s and am in excellent shape as I eat organic, work out at a gym after work 4 times a week, run and ride a bike on weekends, etc. but I don't act pompous about it and never take it for granted as it is hard work but worth it to me. for you to tell this girl she is fa...more
cpinsp, wow, you are such an ****!!!! Why do you assume that someone who feels young women models who are too thin and may be bordering on becoming anorexic is fat and ugly? First of all, I'm a mother to 2 girls, have several friends who are moms to girls, and we talk about body image and proper, healthy eating and e...more
hey, cpinsp, I live in an area of NY that has been infiltrated with tons of Koreans and Chinese over the past 20 or so years and they are all very THIN and they all STINK beyond comprehension. I live in Queens, NY and I raised 3 kids without a car. I always take/took public ...more
Yea, but you don't have to be wealthy to get your car fixed or to buy a new fridge. Those are things most average working people can afford. The people who live in true poverty are the ones who cannot afford anything. I feel for those people and think more needs to be done to help them achieve a better life, however...more
Not sure where you live, but in NY going to many places by public trans gets people there much faster because trains don't have to deal with traffic!!!! If you are going to certain areas, you can wind up sitting in traffic for a while and a trip that usually takes 20 minutes during "non rush hours" can wind up taking ...more
I disagree with this unless you live in a place where there is NO public transportation and you NEED to drive to work, shopping, etc. I live in NY and I can tell you that there are plenty of people out there who don't work who are driving around in their cars going somewhere, ie shopping, beach, park, school, college,...more
