Parents blast Disney's new Merida as too...

Most little girls aren't going to notice, mine included. But there is something off-putting about how Disney feels they have to add sex appeal to a children's character - why remake her with bare shoulders and tiny waist?

Let's not lose sight of the fact that he was holding a PENCIL. Whether you are for or against gun control, the crux of this story is that a child was holding a pencil (gasp!) at a SCHOOL (No!) and somehow that became grounds for suspension.  Zero tolerance should be reserved for actual weapons that are an actual dan...more

US hospitals send hundreds of immigrants...

The only issue I see here is that it exposes yet another inability and unwillingness on the part of our government to deal with the problem of illegal immigration.  The hospital followed the Hippocratic Oath, stabilized the patients, and even threw in a private plane trip home at the hospital's own expense. Aetna's plan to avoid Obamacare for 1 mo...

If you knew that your water bill was going to increase by 40% or more, but could lock in your current rate for an extra year, wouldn't you?   The fact is, ObamaCare is going to raise costs. Period. Insurance companies and self-insured employers CAN'T just eat ...more

Obamacare credits could trigger surprise...

ObamaCare does nothing to help the middle class. The very best case scenario here is that you are paying more for the exact same care. The more realistic scenario is that you are pay a whole lot more for diminished services, in addition to a whole slew of additional fees and taxes that have only begun to be enacted.

You don't have to lean right to realize Obamacare is bad for business. You just have to have a minimal amount of business (and common) sense.
