Oil companies manipulate the market by letting supplies go down and then they shut down for maintenance and summer blend, prices go up and record profits for the quarter. Manipulating the market in itself is illegal but nothing is ever done and nothing ever will be. Gas will be at 5.00+ a gallon this time next year.
