Jazz great Donald Byrd dies at 80

What a great sound. His albums in the early 70's were amongst my inspirations when I was learning how to play. And then later I heard his earlier recordings. His music will live on.

Overcharging of lithium-ion batteries should never happen. It only does when the 'charger' that's used doesn't have a 'charging cutoff'. About 20 years ago there was a movement in Germany to Americanize their lager beer. Once the citizens heard about it the movement quickly ended.   I also remember when the Red Hook brewery in Seattle became poplular to a small degree and was written off as just a fad and wouldn't last. Ha!
