Tweeps don't like Ann Romney calling the...

Romney has not failed any IRS audit.   John McCain said there was no problem with 23 years of Romney tax returns, and I trust McCain.   I'll trade 4 years of Romney tax returns for Obama's college transcripts, 1 year for Obama's thesis, and 2 years for ALL the Operation Fast & Furious documents.

That Barney Frank refused to regulate (in opposition to the Bush Administration) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and caused the housing collapse and Great Recession is the important issue, not what he does in his personal life. Search for "barney frank refused to regulate fannie" on youtube.

AnthraxDude - Actually, the banks did pay back most if not all of the money.  Obama even uses this fact as a talking point defending his and Bush's TARP.  It is AIG, Fannie, and Freddie who still owe $billions.  Dodd-Frank made no attempt to reform this true cause of the housing collapse and subsequent recession.

GM should pay back it's "fair share" plus interest with it's profits. BTW, this doesn't even count the $7.5K reb...more

10 ways to reuse common household items

Good article. No vitriol or politics.  Just ideas and solutions.   Don't like it, don't do it.   Old plastic shower curtains are also good when you move heavy objects like furniture - easier to slide than to carry.  In the meantime, use them to keep dust off of stuff you store in your garage.   Old plasti...more

JP Morgan Chase now has a $1500 absolute minimum balance on checking accounts.  A $12 fee per month is assessed if you fall below that balance, even transiently.  Not all of us are fortunate enough to have direct deposit (Chase waives the fee if you have this).  Chase, you have cost-shifted your fees to me.  Now I pay ...more

Viral 'stroke' video used in Facebook sc...

Well, a neurologist I'm in contact with who saw the video states that her speech pattern contained neologisms and paraphasic errors, indicating a focal left temporal lobe lesion, most likely a TIA, less likely a seizure. We shall see.
