Lazy and incompetent major Dept Store appliance repairmen ruined my new refrigerator by installing a test valve and only tightening one of the two screws, the freon leaked out and the compressor was ruined. Another bad person doing a routine checkup, put my mom's brand new washer back together crooked and out of balanc...more

Taggers prank cops by using compressed a...

There is no difference between filing a false police report and appearing to commit a crime and deliberately fooling and distracting a policeman from catching criminals. In both cases the policeman is distracted from doing his duty.

Ralphs is great becuse they have diversity and choices. I intensely dislike Vons because I feel they do not keep up with diversity or value diverse customers. They offered 3 brands of 3 identical gravy choices. Out of 9 their choices there was not one vegetarian gravy and they repeatedly refused to change, citing what ...more

Survey: Men Are Much More Likely to Rely...

All that the survey determined was that more men used gps than women during the survey. Nothing was measured about RELIANCE on gps. I wish writers would stop jumping to conclusions. Just write what the survey measures... which was usage in a particular setting and not reliance. A careful survey would need to be designe...more

Food companies face rising dairy prices

I believe that the practice of false science blasting healthy food is rampant in the US. Example butter, eggs, coconut oil and we could also use some true science to correctly and truthfully evaluate saturated fat. All the while our "caring" (painful humor) FDA approves High Fructose Corn Syrup. The FDA needs to be re-...more

We have seen many new terrible rules, which  I feel were influenced as usual by lobby money from and for big business and campaign elections. Citizens as usual were not given input. A credit score is a relection of my life, but I must pay $30 to find out my scores. For $30 I buy fresh vegetables and milk for my family,...more

Over 55? How to stay in demand

I feel that the article question, whether a savvy employer will overlook that elder executives are embarassed by their age, is an unfair loaded question. I do not feel that executives are embarrassed by their age, and if some older executives do see age as a disadvantage, it likely involves their attempt at survival, t...more

A lasting solution to high oil prices

Re Kevin, What type of diesel fuel are the trains allowed to use? A few years back, trains in this state were allowed to have their own high sulfur fuel, while everyone else had to go to the low sulfur type. Does anyone know if trains have converted to the new diesel?
