Employers that are small and don't bother with direct deposit. In this case, the 'bill' they owe is my paycheck.  Just saying.

I should add, I wouldn't mind if they went to reduced daily hours; I'm guessing the vast majority of customers come in before 9:00, around lunchtime, or between 4-7 pm anyway.

I work, and I want my damn paycheck that I earned and that my employer mails.  Sometimes a day or two does make a big difference.

Also, people on welfare aren't the only ones who get payment by mail.  People who have regular jobs sometimes do too.
