Friday is when many people get paid.

Employers that are small and don't bother with direct deposit. In this case, the 'bill' they owe is my paycheck.  Just saying.

I should add, I wouldn't mind if they went to reduced daily hours; I'm guessing the vast majority of customers come in before 9:00, around lunchtime, or between 4-7 pm anyway.

I work, and I want my damn paycheck that I earned and that my employer mails.  Sometimes a day or two does make a big difference.

Also, people on welfare aren't the only ones who get payment by mail.  People who have regular jobs sometimes do too.

If you get your paycheck in the mail it could be a problem since not all employers offer direct deposit.

I think I liked it better when people didn't know everything there was to know about each other.  It was easier to respect them.

Calm down, people...picking any ONE of these and complaining, "I do that, and I'm not a deadbeat!" is like going on WebMD and thinking you're going to die because you have a cough.
