I've completely been there.  It's an incomprehensible complete heartbreak.  Know that those pet babies are always with us in spirit.

Not usually an NBC fan myself, I did like Ann whenever I heard/saw her.  I couldn't have been so gracious after she was replaced.  Now she's been reduced to a cub reporter.  How humiliating.  I hope she comes back somewhere else soon.  She does have one of THE best voices on TV.

Funny how if that was a pet dog, he/she would probably be euthanized and the owner's charged.

I've never trusted any news journalist who sounds like Bugs Bunny.  Maybe that's just me.

Correction:  Our 1991 Toy pickup had the SR22E engine.  I left out the "e", which is probably important.  I do miss her...and the only problem she had was needing more A/C refrigerant.  The dealer did give us $1500 for her towards the new Yaris.  I definately feel we got our money's worth out of 20 years.  I'm sure she...more

We traded a 20-year old Toyota pickup (yes it had the famed SR22 engine) in for a new Toyota Yaris at the dealer.  For what we got in trade against the new one, and TWENTY YEARS of fabulous Toyota dependability, I think we're....winning!
