Once you cross the border, even the grass on the roadside is cut. The roads are clean. Didn't see any litter until we got back in the U.S. On my last trip to Calgary, I also noticed lots more cute Asian girls.

To answer the question directly, I believe not. Does it matter? No. I believe that as long as whoever it is a good person, it should not matter.
