Cheerios for $27.50 a pound?

One of my favorite summer pasttimes is to pick wild Black Raspberrys and wild Blackberrys.  I also use the turkey bones after thanksgiving to make turkey frame soup (no you don't eat the bones).  Oddly, these recipes have all been deleted from the Better Homes and Gardens latest edition cookbook.  Shame on you.  All I ...more

Can Dell save itself by going private?

The PC market will never die completely, but the strategy has to change.  You cut overhead in the PC department until it makes a profit.  You increase the quality of components and slow the refresh cycle.  This seems at odds with what has been happening, but it really is going to be more of a niche market.  Then the PC...more

Election aside, we're stuck with Big Ben

The President could get rid of "helicopter" Ben the day he enters office.  Just strip him of his security clearance and Voila!, Ben can no longer enter the Feds Building.  Bye Bye moron.

‘Ghostbusters 3’—Sequel or Reboot?

Hey Aykroid,   How about a storyline where you handed off the business to your kids and they didn't do so well against...something and you all have to go rescue them?  With Murray and Weaver as, shall we say, having some marital problems?  Maybe, Aykroid starting the movie...single...for good reasons.  And Har...more

‘Ghostbusters 3’—Sequel or Reboot?

I think Murray should hold out until Aykroyd gets the script right, but he certainly should hold the carrot out.  I would love to see these three back together, but it all starts with the writing.  I was one of the ones disappointed with Ghostbusters 2...and most sequels; however, as far as age, there have been numerou...more

A $450 airline fee?

The last time I was going to fly it was from Alabama to Pittsburgh.  The plane had a problem and they were going to put me on a later flight and divert me to Atlanta.  I told them refund the money and drove.  IF I could have got a seat on the soonest connection after they dumped me in Atlanta, I still beat the jet into...more

Stocks mixed as health shares lag

Unadjusted figures:  770,413.  Plus upwardly revised adjusted from prior week.   How do you write off 350,000 people and call the figures meaningful at all?
