Yeah I had given up libraries until they got a decent online system (i frequently racked up substantial late fees). Now I request the books I want, they'll move them to the library one block from where I work and hold them there for 10 days so I can wait until there are several to pickup. Oh - and Gone with the wind is still popular in 2008 when it was made in 1939, but won't make it another 31 years to 2039? Seriously?
I read Gone with the wind at 12 and then watched the movie. My younger cousins followed my lead. When I have kids it is definitely a movie I will introduce them too.
"Gone with the Wind" was back in the theatres about 10 years ago and the theater was packed. When something is available on video and people still pay to see it on the big screen you can't say it's not classic. I own the DVD and watch it about once a year and I love it.
