No. It's a great example of how people misuse religion for evil. Considering the assignment, it's not offensive to me, as a Christian. It's true, if the Crusades had recruitment posters, they might look like this. Use your noggin people. Use this as a chance to educate yourself and your kids. Instead of getting upset.
