I'm all for uncommon names.  My female boxer is Ripley after Sigourney Weaver's character in Alien.  My other female boxer was Kitty because I found her hanging from the bottom branch of my tree just like a cat.  Love my boxers!

I've seen Springsteen many many MANY times and still am amazed at the energy, the passion, the soul of this man.  BRUUUUUUUCE!!!

Yay - us!!!!  Think about all the "Think Tanks" in my area... makes sense!  Plus all those PhDs working for NIST and DARPA and the Smithsonian Institute... they all live here!

Oh dear God.... I just got back from a vacation in Paris and found the food at the Louvre DELICIOUS!  What other museum in the whole world serves fresh, wonderful food?  Certainly not the Smithsonian - cold, stale, rubber burgers with no personality.  This is a shame.

I gladly paid for a 4-year ungrad degree for my daughter.  Glad that I was able to give her a good start in life without her going into debt with college student loans.  She graduated with a 3.85 gpa while working a part-time job to give herself pocket money for clothes/movie/gas/incidentals.  Damn proud of her!

Not many of the old classic actors left now.  Elizabeth Taylor and Mickey Rooney are the only ones that come to mind.

I get my reading glass at the local dollar store.  Since I leave them all over the house, at work, a pair in the car, I can't beat the $1 price tag!

Finally!  I'm all female, pink and bows.  And I LOVE action movies!  I even named my female boxer Ripley.  My bookcase has HellBoy, IronMan, Lord of the Rings (theater and extended versions), Star Wars.  Heck, I even have Tremors on DVD.  Not a single chick-flick on my list.
