I grew up in a country area on CO's West Slope and learned to drive was I was 11; getting my license at age 16. To me a car is just a convenience and sometimes a neccessity. I can see why some urban types would go without them and it's no big deal. I prefer having a car and I'm glad i can drive.
Unless you're buying a house or want to finance a new car (which is very dumb), a credit score doesn't matter much except to some employers and that practice is under attcka as it should be.
Louisville is set within urban sprawl and is a suburb of Denver. If paradise paved over. crowds and long lines are your thing then by all means move to metro Denver (of which Louisville is a part),
