What amazes me about A&F is that they went bankrupt in the late 70's then the name got bought out in the 80's then the name was sold again to another bidder yet they call themselves an aspirational and lifestyle brand. I feel like the title is a little misleading.. most of these companies may be stuck in neutral but theoretically that doesn't mean that they couldn't continue to grow by either aquisition or expanding out into new industries.
