I just read the whole story.  Ditto my comments for Cooper.  Won't watch him either.   Come on folks think outside the box.  Their are a lot of people who can do this and keep the show alive and well.  But I guess you are trying to kill 2 birds with one stone, Lauer and Jeopardy.

I don't watch often but Mr. Trebek is an intelligent man.  Lauer is an idiot.  He will take the show down and out in less than a year because their will be no viewers, except reruns with Mr. Trebek. I will not watch if Lauer is host, he brings nothing to the show.

I work in retail and customers come up and ask a question while talking on their cells and continue talking, ignoring me.  I ask, are you talking to me or on the phone, then I politely tell them to find me when they are finished talking and I will gladly help them.
