Congrats.  I am doing the same.  The thing I worry about are those who live beyond their means instead of saving for retirement and then looking for hand-outs in retirement.  They will turn to you and I and tax the hell out of us to suplement their retirement.

It is a government benifit once you collect more then you paid in, which happens to most people on SS before they die.  They need to increase the age of retirement or tax more.
