Spending has to be cut. I cannot buy Keynsian arguments. No one in Washington, DC has seriously considered spending cuts; only reduced spending in relation to a previous fiscal year? Then the follow up is a "crisis" budget gap that the media will sell to the public. No more revenue talk without spending cuts.

Consider that it was Congress that did NOT adjust the maximum deductible IRA contribution to match inflation for a very long time. They created the people at the lower end in a bind by not raising this minimum. And time is not on the side of someone 50+ once the rule is changed.

I don't get the Walmart experience. They do not fix what they sell. So when I buy electronic trash, something designed to fail/outdated in less than one year, why buy something with no support?
If you are a fan: live sports that are not locally available to attend but are ONLY on cable or sat dish. Especially since much of this is subject to contract negotiations with the sport's sanctioning body you may not see any of your favorite live events with rabbit ears (still valid with the new standard).
