Sounds like America's version of the Gestapo. If cops are doing nothing wrong then what do they have to fear from having their actions monitored by the people who are paying them?
The fear is that if sex were readily available at a reasonable price many women would have a hard time convincing a man to sign over everything he has and half of everything he'll ever have just in the hopes of a "happy ending" once in a while.
This has been happening all across this country for a very long time. The cops see a homeless person walking,they offer him a ride, they drop him at the other side of town.

Remember Rodney King? Why would the police object to their actions being recorded if they are doing nothing wrong? They work for US. The battle against tyranny is never-ending.
We can expect to see a lot more of this kind of treatment from the healthcare system with all the baby-boomers getting older. The rich will have all the best treatment while the poor will be allowed to die.
These sort of abuses make you wonder what our war on drugs is worth. When are politicians and law enforcement going to realize that prohibition did not work for alcohol and it's not going to work on drugs.
