Sounds like America's version of the Gestapo. If cops are doing nothing wrong then what do they have to fear from having their actions monitored by the people who are paying them?

The fear is that if sex were readily available at a reasonable price many women would have a hard time convincing a man to sign over everything he has and half of everything he'll ever have just in the hopes of a "happy ending" once in a while.

I once reported a car stolen. The thief got several parking tickets on the car (the police notified me by mail).
