Two things: The verb should be "were," as we're talking about the subjunctive.
And, "gentleman"? Certainly, you're kidding, right? "GENTLEMAN" ??
This has nothing to do with spelling, but your second sentence really should be written as two, as it has two independent clauses expressing independent, but unrelated ideas. Also, there should be a comma before "a$$hat."
This DOES have to do with spelling: "nazi's" as you put it needs no apostrophe. It's plural...more
