Top executives usually get big bucks for not doing what they need to do. Isn't that the American way as we know it today. They get more the people doing the job get less and less as do the rest of the consumers.

Absolutely not. Greed is what is wrong with the US. Rich want to get richer. The poor are just trying to survive. Why didn't all the farmers sell their beef and quit raising it, except for their own use.
Then we wll wonder why we can't buy some things we need much less want when these people are paid such amounts for nothing. But then who wrote up the contract that allowed this to happen. If we got fired or quit from a job I doubt we would be paid such.
He did the right thing. Regardless of that the company that hired him says. They would have let the man dround. I wouldn't want them patroling anything. They should be dismissed.
Looks to me like they should have spent that money on the poor people who could not afford health care. More people in high place making stupid decisions. So what is new.
