You may be right that natural gas is the bridge fuel to the future but Big Oil is going to block it. We will need to get control of the government back from the monied interests first.

You forget that the internal combustion engine has over 100 years of development behind it. At the same point of development the Electric car will blow the doors off of the primitive crap we drive today. (regardless of politics)
