With your language and attitude, how can anyone take you seriously? I don't believe you have owned or ever driven a Japanese vehicle. You couldn't pay me to own a "domestic" (which by the way are now built in Canada, Mexico and other places) Honda, Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Hyundai, etc are all built in the USA.
Fires were common on a LOT more years than those you listed. I used to handle claims and one claim I remember on those trucks nearly burned down the house because the car was off and in the garage when it burst into flames. Could have killed the whole family!

Have you already forgotten how foreign cars nearly put GM and Chrysler out of business in 2008 and how MY tax dollars had to bail out a couple of sorry companies that couldn't compete? Of course we want imports, why should we be forced to buy obviously inferior cars?

Calm down people, it's okay. No accidents or injuries reported. Simple fix.. I would still buy a Honda over any and EVERY other car brand any day of the week.
