I didn't say anything about regulating OIL, I said regulate GAS PRICES. What defines a Utility? I'm not sure, but what I am sure of, is that GAS is needed by 99% of us, just like electricity, natural gas, etc, who's prices..at least in Colorado, are regulated.
I didn't say anything about nationalizing...you didnt...more
I'm not convinced it will help, but...Why aren't we talking about regulating gas prices? GAS IS A UTILITY, why not regulate it like one? I may be naive, but my PRIVATELY run utility (gas, electric) company can't just up and raise its price, they have to justify it, THEY STILL MAKE A PROFIT...$140Million last year. ...more

I'm sorry, but your comment is just absurd. Bush didn't raise a single nickel in taxes to pay for the wars, in fact, as you may recall, he CUT...more
Worriedguy...
wrong dude...the effort of a 4 Trillion dollar package was put forth, but rejected becuase it had revenues in it, which the extremists in the GOP will absulutely not consider, even when the revenues are created by common sense approaches to close loopholes in the tax code for millionairs and billionaire...more
