I clicked on this title expecting to read all kinds of scary stuff about getting ruined by reverse mortgages. And the advice about going to a credit union or saving up for a used car, please! Who wouldn't? The advisor has obviously never had to decide whether to pay the power bill, or eat, ha!

Back then, the wholesale or discount rate the dealer got was always lower than the customer could get at the same bank, if he/she walked into a bank branch on his/her own. 'Some fees you should never pay because they are part of the cost of doing business' ... huh?! Where does any business recoup their overhead costs, if it doesn't come out of their profit?
Paying for it by cutting elsewhere....how long would that take? Where ever they cut, there will be a fight...while they are squabbling about that cut....what are the unemployed supposed to do? eat cake?
I wish all the articles I've been reading on this subject would stop reporting that auto dealers were exempted, without giving the specifics. The 4 cars I will not put on my used car lot are; any Cadillac, Taurus, Mazda 626, Intrepid. You recommended 2 of them.
