Even the war lords in feudal Japan capped the tax rate at 50%. Taxes and regulations can and should be used to help even out and economy and keep money in circulation. Rather than stagnating 93-95% of the cash in the top 1% of the population. (which is what we have now in the US)  But 100% tax is ridiculous.
