All I can tell you is to retire "if" you have a fairly large amount of money in the bank, if not keep working as long as you can....and when you retire try to work part-time if your physically and mentally able to.

You are so right that the money doesn't fall from the trees. I refuse to fund them in anyway what so ever. Although, I did buy my one grand daughter some Hannah Montana stuff a few years ago. Actually, I will go out of my way not to purchase their promo stuff.
