In Brunei, as the United States and all other countries, this is not a financially great time.  When people are suffering from a lack of food, and their homes need repair, it seems to me that a bit of that excess could have been spent on helping the poor and needy.  Oh Yeah...this is more over the top than the trips to...more

The main story of the Book of Mormon began in JERUSALEM, and the family  wound up in the Americas after traveling by foot and then building a ship to get here.  The book closes about 420 ad, although this was not the end of those people.

It appears the Smeado has not done much research.  It very well aligns with life in this continent after the period of time covered in the Book of Mormon, and the ending at the time of that book.
