I believe the Dodd-Frank law is only the first step in the right direction.  Allowing banks to lend money risk free has lead to the housing market bubble, which lead to the stock market crash, which ruined everyone's 401k plan.  Houses are so over valued right now that no one can afford them without the monthly payment...more

I believe many of you are missing the point of the article.  The point of the article is that the tax bracket is set too low in some parts of the country.  Those couples making > $250k, in expensive areas of our nation, pay a disproportional amount of taxes relative to our income.  We get none of the tax benefits enjoy...more

Big changes ahead for student loans - MS...

I am glad to see that the Obama administration is finally fixing the credit industry.  For too long we have been at the mercy of lenders.  I have $200,000 in student loans, some of them at 14% interest! Its a crime to take advantage of those of us trying to better our lives.  And now lenders want to pretend they offer ...more
