my wife and I have no kids but we pay property tax, which is largly used to fund school expenses. We have been subsidising other peoples kids for over 30 years.  No hard feelings though, it's for a good cause.

Tax break  or tax deduction is annother word for subsidy. if you want to subsidise home ownership then go ahead. I always thought that subsidies were promoted  and supported by those pesky socialist types that the righties are always throwing things at..

Some of the people who are overly concerned with their Rights still don't get it . It takes a certain amount of fuel  per pound per mile to transport whatever gets carried. A note to Steve, #1 are you a pilot? If not , what do you base your statements on. For those of us that are pilots we wouldn't want you planning or operating our flight.  Weight does matter!  maybe the surcharge would work in keeping rates fairer.
